Registration is required
Payment in Full In Advance Or At Event
When registering, remember....
(1) Log in to your account prior to registering to see all membership registration options
(2) Be sure to push the "Complete Button" at the end of the registration process.
(3) A confirmation email will be sent to the email address associated with your account (or email address provided if non-member) after completing the registration.
(4) The $30 registration fee will also apply to active members if they register on or after the Friday before the event. This is the day when a final headcount is provided to the event center.

About the FBOA Meeting and Training:
Educational meetings are typically on the first Wednesday of each month following the monthly board meeting and lunch at Guy’s Party Center, 500 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, Ohio 44319. However,. due to a scheduling conflict, September's meeting has been moved up one week to Wednesday Aug. 26th. Education is being presented by Ed Lisinski of American Wood Council(AWC). He is providing 2hrs of BBS approved training on residential framing.
Doors open at 11:30am for lunch. Members are welcome to join the FBOA board at their 10:30am meeting.
About the Presenter:
Ed Lisinski is AWC's Midwest Regional Director. He has 16 years of experience as a building code official, also serving as the department directior for the City of West Allis, Wisconsin. He is an active member of the International Code Council where he has served as the chair for both the Building Membership Council and the Structural Code Development Committee. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
About the Venue:
Guy's Party Center is located off of I-77 a few minutes south of downtown Akron on E. Waterloo Rd. Doors open at 11:30am and class will begin after lunch.
