Representing Ohio's Code Officials
Ohio Building Officials Association
Since 1961, the Ohio Building Officials Association (OBOA) has represented the code enforcement community’s interests at the Ohio Board of Building Standards, the State Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Ohio General Assembly and served to promote Life Safety through building codes with improved responsiveness and consistency in enforcement.
Becoming an OBOA member offers many additional career benefits:

- Increased efficiencies in techniques and methodology.
- Working with other Code Officials on matters that impact the entire State, while maintaining local identity.
